Discover Norton Simon Museum In Pasadena California

The Norton Simon Museum is located on 9.5 hectares and is housed in a 85,000 squrare feet and is located in the beautiful city of Pasadena, California in 411 W. Colorado Blvd. across the street from where the television cameras are set up every year for the Rose Parade. Therefore, millions of people in relation to the front of the museum each year, when they see the Rose Parade. The collection of works by Van Gogh, Picasso, Rembrandt, Fragonard, including Rodin and consists of over 1,000 works including paintings, etchings (by Rembrandt, Goya, etc.), sculptures, photographs (Ansel Adams) and other media, spanning a period of more than 2,000 years ago. The museum also hosts lectures, gallery talks, family programs, musical performances, dance, film and guided tours.
The Museumoffers both private tours, and monthly free public tours conducted by its collection of museum educators.
The museum's store offers a large selection of books on American, Asian and European art along with posters, slides and stationery and books on photography, gardens and architecture.
The museum is open Tuesday, New Year's Day closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is 12:00 Clock opening times are - 9:00 Clock Clock on Friday and 12:00 - 6:00 pm all other days. AdmissionFees are Adults $ 8.00, seniors $ 4.00 and patrons under 18, students free with valid ID and museum members.
